Welcome to Happy Bastille Day, the online portfolio of Meredith A. Bak. I have written and done illustrations for children's work in a variety of capacities for over five years. I particularly enjoy drawings that depict people (and animals and other creatures) in imaginative and often implausible positions. My inspiration comes from artists and illustrators such as: Quentin Blake, Marcel Dzama, & Amy Cutler.
